About Louyse

louysebw-1 Louyse E. Vigneault has been in the industry of wellness and fitness for more than 15 years. She is the owner for NUTRI-FITNESS and TRANCEYOGA®.

She began her yoga journey in the 60’s at the age of 15. Initially she was attracted to yoga mostly for meditation, chanting, and pranayama/breathing. Her daily practice was mostly Raja Yoga (yoga of the mind) until she moved to Toronto in 1994 and she began to regularly practice Hatha Yoga (physical yoga). At the time, she was involved in the fitness industry and a Reiki Practitioner.
Under the encouragement of her own yoga teacher, she began teaching yoga. At first, she didn’t want to teach yoga because it was something she was doing for herself, so it took her about a year of teaching until she started to enjoy teaching as much as doing her own daily practice of asanas.
She has always been thankful to yoga as it helped her to recover from a car accident, which occurred in 1989 and almost paralyzed her.

She has since received many Yoga and fitness Certifications, including canfitpro (FIS, PTS, HWL, Resist-A-Ball Core Training and Pilates and Yoga) and East to West Yoga 500 hours Certification and she is registered with YOGA ALLIANCE.

She has attended numerous yoga trainings with Rodney Yee and TKV Desikachar. She has also taken trainings &/or classes with renowned teachers such as: Bryan Kest, Cyndi Lee, David Swenson, Doug Swenson, David Life, Hart Lazer, Baron Baptiste, Beryl Bender Birch, Mark Whitwell, Maureen Ray and Yogafit Team and others.

She is Pilates certified with Physical Mind Institute as well as East to West Yoga and as taken many other trainings with renowned Pilates Studio. She is a NLP Master Practitioner and a REIKI Master/Teacher.

Louyse is canfitpro PRO TRAINER for Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, HWL, RESIST-A-BALL CORE, PILATES AND YOGA. She certifies as well in First Aid and CPR. Louyse is a Master Trainer for EAST TO WEST YOGA AND PILATES MAT.

Louyse has been on the Board of directors for the Canadian Reiki Association for over 10 years.

This NWS course has helped me by refreshing my initial analysis tools. Specifically, the course assessed a client under three areas: nutrition, physical fitness, and lifestyle/wellness. So I realized more ways to focus on the most important aspects of each of the three areas. This course involved group study and analysis with other students which opened my experience to see how other fitness professionals view their clients. It involved a lot of mock client analysis which sharpened my view of people struggling with health issues. The exam in theory and practical gave me an opportunity to get into details of Can-Fit-Pros approach to wellness and nutrition. I enjoyed it and especially was glad to review the psychological aspect of change management and readiness for nutritional counseling and health action plans. Karen
